Professor Sohmer holds an M.A. in Philosophy from Biola University and is a doctoral candidate in Philosophy at the University of California, Irvine. He is interested in the relationship between wisdom and virtue in classical sources as well as in modern education. Sohmer also serves as Upper School Director at Bethel Classical Academy.
