🎉Celebrations from the Lab

Ethan is one of Hildegard’s newest students, joining us from Santa Clarita, CA! Along with his passion for the Great Books, he’s equally excited about his work in the Entrepreneur Lab.

Ethan is preparing for ordained ministry with a calling to church planting. Last week, as part of our Entrepreneurship curriculum, he worked through the Core Purpose Framework, a resource soon to be included in our Entrepreneurship Certificate Program.

Walking through this 10-step process helped Ethan articulate his core purpose with clarity and conviction. He cast a bold and beautiful Dream Statement (Step 1):

“To lead and edify a faithful Anglican church in the United States that redeems its city and draws it into the divine life, as an image of the heavenly city.”

He then navigated through the rest of our 40-page workbook to explore the 8 key questions every leader needs to answer to arrive at their unique reason for being, arriving at his simple yet personal and poignant Core Purpose :

"Mediating God’s love through hospitality."

At Hildegard, we’re not here just to fill minds with knowledge, but to form students like Ethan to step boldly into their reason for being, ready to shape the world with conviction and grace.
